The first coordinated programme of evening events along the South Bank, from the Hayward Gallery to the Design Museum, was launched at the London Festival of Architecture 2008. Activities included films at BFI Southbank and in Skater City, light shows at the Royal Festival Hall, live installations at the National Theatre, dance performances at the Toby Paterson-designed pavilion in Potters Fields, live music in the Scoop at More London, art events at the Design Museum and a Party Dress installation in Borough Market.
