Elias Redstone is an independent curator, writer and editor. Recent exhibitions include Chen Wei: The Club (Centre for Contemporary Photography, 2017), Modern Forms (Architectural Association, 2016), Constructing Worlds: Photography and Architecture in the Modern Age (Barbican Art Gallery, 2014), Lesser Known Architecture (Design Museum, 2013) and the touring exhibition Archizines. His book Shooting Space: Architecture in Contemporary Photography is published by Phaidon.

In 2012 Elias exhibited in the British Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Previously, he was the curator of the Polish Pavilion at the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale, co-curator of the 2008 London Festival of Architecture and senior curator at the Architecture Foundation, London, where he initiated multiple exhibitions, installations, lectures and international exchange programmes. He has also delivered curatorial projects in partnership with institutions in various countries including the Australian Design Centre, Beijing Design Week, British Council, Irish Architecture Foundation, MoMA, Southbank Centre, Storefront for Art and Architecture, Tate Modern, Tokyo Art Book Fair, Victoria & Albert Museum and Vitra Design Museum.

He is a founding editor of the London Architecture Diary and New York Architecture Diary. He has edited publications for Prestel, Sternberg Press and Bedford Press, acted as a contributing editor for Arena Homme Plus and GQ Style, and written for a number of international titles including The New York Times, PIN–UP, Wallpaper and i-D.
